Corporate Partners

ORGANIZATIONS

To help advance the mission of AGS with engagement, guidance, and financial support, the American Geographical Society (AGS) seeks organizations to work with us as sustaining Corporate Partners and Corporate Angel Partners.

Our Corporate Partners help shape the dialogue and focus of our continuing Symposium programs as well as other relevant Society endeavors. Corporate Partners play a critical role in ensuring the relevance of Society activities as they address both current issues and future challenges and opportunities. Corporate Partners work directly with the AGS Chief Executive Officer and the AGS Council. In response to the development of the partnership, AGS will:

  • Engage our Corporate Partners to advance the mission of AGS with the greatest input and direction from a continual dialogue between thought leaders across industry, academia, government, and not-for-profit sectors
  • Create programs and activities mutually beneficial to AGS and our Corporate Partners
  • Establish a promotion and recognition strategy uniquely aligned with the priorities of our Corporate Partners

BECOME A CORPORATE ANGEL PARTNER

While not all are in a position to be Gold, Silver, or Bronze Corporate Partners of AGS, nearly every company is in a position to become an AGS Corporate Angel Partner, contributing $2,000 on an annual basis to directly fund the Society’s support for its AGS Geography Educator Initiative and the wider AP Human Geography teacher and student community. AGS Corporate Angel Partners directly support our efforts to impact geographical and geospatial education in schools, grades K-12, across the United States. Funding from Corporate Angel Partners goes directly to the AGS Geography Educator Initiative. We offer Corporate Angel Partners an opportunity to make a real difference in geographic/geospatial education for just $2,000 annually. Benefits to Angels include:

Corporate Angel Partner
USD$2,000
• 1 AGS Fellow membership for an individual employed by the contributing Angel
• Inclusion of Angel logo on AGS Website
• Inclusion of direct links from AGS Website to Angel website
• Recognition through logo placement on all communications related to the Geography Educator Initiative
• Recognition at the AGS annual Fall Symposium
